THE EUROPEAN GREEN PACT:
Our future depends on the health of the planet. The European Green Pact is the EU states’ strategy for achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
Its initiatives, which seek to transform various sectors, such as energy, agriculture, transport and industry, through policies and measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment, are supported by the European Climate Legislation.
A European Regulation Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 30 establishes the framework for achieving such neutrality and achieves the legally binding commitment of the member states to reduce emissions net of greenhouse gases of the EU in at least by 55 with respect to 1990 values by 2030.

INDUSTRIAL DECARBONIZATION:
The industrial sector is responsible for a large part of greenhouse gas emissions, due to energy consumption from the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. These emissions contribute to global warming and climate change. In addition to being a scarce and finite commodity.
Industrial decarbonization refers to the reduction of carbon emissions and the elimination of fossil fuels in industrial processes, and is therefore a fundamental objective to combat climate change and achieve carbon neutrality.
HYDROGEN COMBUSTION:
Hydrogen is one of the most attractive alternatives to the use of fossil fuels, as it is a clean and renewable energy, with high efficiency and low environmental impact of its combustion. This combustion obeys the following chemical equation:
2 H2 + O2 -> 2 H2O
Two hydrogen molecules (H2) combine with one oxygen molecule (O2) to form two water molecules (H2O) and release energy.
