In May, the energy and environmental trade fairs are back with a vengeance.
AisTech Columbus
Kalfrisa, together with our colleagues Jorge Usón, manager of the energy area and Robert Lytle, country manager for USA, will be present again at AISTech, which will take place in Columbus, the capital of the state of Ohio (United States) from May 6 to 9, 2024.
AISTect is North America’s largest annual steel technology conference and exhibition, showcasing the latest technologies from around the world to help steelmakers compete more effectively. Most of the companies that supply the steel mills will be exhibiting at the event, where they will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships and establish new contacts with the best of the steel industry.

Hispack 2024 packaging, process & logistics
Hispack is the most important packaging trade fair in Spain and one of the most important in Europe. An event that takes place at Feria de Barcelona from May 7 to 10 and brings together the entire packaging ecosystem, including the flexographic sector, of which Kalfrisa is an important partner.
Kalfrisa, will be present in HALL 2, Level 0, Street A, Stand 174, together with EcoImpress, our partner in the field of distribution and sale of machinery and accessories for the graphic arts and paint and dye manufacturing sectors.
On this occasion it will be Julio Benedí, project manager of the emissions treatment and control area, who will represent Kalfrisa and explain our good work in the elimination of volatile organic compounds and our commitment to new technologies in pursuit of industrial decarbonization, such as electric RTOs.
IFAT Munich 2024
IFAT Munich, May 13-17, is the world’s leading trade fair for water, wastewater, waste and raw materials management, offering innovations, resources and solutions to specifically address environmental challenges around the world. The IFAT Munich exhibition is the flagship of a series of trade fairs taking place in China, India, Brazil, South Africa and Turkey as part of a global network for companies operating in the environmental technology sector.
Kalfrisa attends for the first time to this fair, where Daniel Alvarez will present different solutions for waste valorization and Roberto del Pozo will show our proposals for the elimination of volatile organic compounds in industrial gaseous emissions. Visit us at booth B5.517.
Funergal 2024
From 16 to 18 May, Ourense will host the twelfth edition of Funergal, the international fair of the funeral industry where a wide range of products and services tailored to the needs of professionals in the sector is presented. On this occasion, nine countries will be present: Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador and China. The program is completed with training activities and will also take place the International Congress of Funeral Directors in which the latest trends and concerns in this field will be analyzed.
Kalfrisa, a benchmark in the design and manufacture of funeral ovens, as usual, will participate in this event, will be Pablo Cantabrana, Íber Almárcegui and María José Causapé, from the Cremation Department, who will be present at Funergal.
