Productive diversification and international expansion. These are the two fundamental pillars that have made the company Kalfrisa great, which is one of the greatest success stories among SMEs in Aragonese industry; After 60 years of international experience, has managed to increase the workforce by 40% since 2018, to 90 employees, and close 2022 its best year ever in sales, turnover and exports.
It has been possible thanks to the sustained growth of the company, which drives energy efficiency and environmental protection through the design and manufacture of innovative technological solutions for the large steel, iron, tile and glass industries.
The other part of its business is furnaces for incineration processes, a segment in which it is the national leader in equipment for the funeral and pet sector.
Sixty percent of what it produces goes to the foreign market, one of the defining strengths of this Zaragoza-based engineering company, which is based in the Malpica industrial estate, where it has just opened a second factory. It has a total of three warehouses for production processes totalling 7,610 square metres and 2,010 square metres of office space.
From this location, the company will redouble its international expansion after having already executed a number of projects 1,500 projects in more than 50 countries. This is one of the cornerstones of the new strategic plan for the 2023-2025 period, which is also committed to strengthening the innovation department and continuing with the policy of product and market diversification that has been so successful.
