Kalfrisa present at the 17th edition of Funermostra
Last October, Kalfrisa was present at Funermostra. In its 17th edition, the funeral industry fair recorded a 17% increase in visits and a 30% increase in exhibitors. The fair was a great professional gathering around the funeral sector and a key business space for this industry.
Kalfrisa was present at this great event with its range of KM ovens already consolidated, once it already has more than 20 units installed in several countries around the world.
Numerous customers and distributors of Kalfrisa attended the stand which became, once again, a meeting point where the evolution of this sector, increasingly global and connected, was clearly perceived.
For the first time, Funermostra included a round table on the subject of suicide. Entitled ‘Suicide in Spain: current reality as a social phenomenon’, this conference sought to address a crucial issue for contemporary society: the exponential increase of cases, especially in the young population, and to explore strategies for early detection, as well as emotional support by professionals, in this case from the funeral sector.
This edition of Funermostra has been lived among novelties and with training as a protagonist. Other parallel activities included a round table on communication and marketing in the sector. The need to break away from clichés, be more transparent and connect emotionally with society was emphasized. The sustainability round table was also held, attended by technicians from the sector, who explained different examples of cemeteries that are moving towards a greener paradigm shift.
Thanks to generational changes and the need to naturalize, the industry is changing. Sustainability is the way forward for the industry.
